Job Title: SCM (Software Configuration Management) Manager
<P>Report to: R&D Director</P>
<P>Key Responsibilities and Accountability:</P>
<P>§ Participate in drawing SCM process.</P>
<P>§ Plan SCM strategy of each project, conduct and audit fulfillment of SCM plan.</P>
<P>§ Manage releases and patch sets of products.</P>
<P> Qualifications required:</P>
<P>Essential:</P>
<P>§ Minimum 5 yrs experience in software development and at least 3 yrs in SCM.</P>
<P>§ Solid knowledge and practice of SCM and releasing.</P>
<P>§ Strong skill with scripting language, e.g. Perl, Shell.</P>
<P>§ Demonstrated experience in build management tools, e.g. Make, Ant.</P>
<P>§ Solid experience of software configuration management systems / source code version control systems, such as Clear Case, CVS, SVN.</P>
<P>§ Strong familiarity with UNIX/Linux.</P>
<P>§ Experience of JBoss, Weblogic etc.</P>
<P>§ Good command of Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server.</P>
<P>§ Excellent communication skills.</P>
<P>Desirable:</P>
<P>§ Soundness knowledge and practice of software process, especially CMM/CMMI.</P>
<P>§ Comprehensive practice of Clear Case.</P>
